B. Shaikh Nasimuddin Chirag Dehalvi
C. Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki
D. Shaikh Farid Ganj-ai-Shakar
Answer: Muinuddin Chishti
Option a is the correct answer.
Akbar was a great admirer and devotee of Muinuddin Chishti. He first visited his mausoleum in Ajmer in 1562 CE, after his victory over Hemu at the Second Battle of Panipat. He attributed his success to the blessings of the saint and vowed to visit his shrine every year. He also made several endowments and donations to the shrine and built a mosque near it. Akbar visited the mausoleum of Muinuddin Chishti fourteen times during his reign, often walking barefoot from Agra to Ajmer as a mark of respect and devotion. He also sought the saint's guidance and intercession for various personal and political matters, such as the birth of his sons, the conquest of Gujarat, and the reconciliation with his son Salim.
