A. His horse-riding force
B. His skilled warfare
C. Tulghuma system
D. Internal disputes among Afghans
Answer: His skilled warfare
Option b is the correct answer.
The main reason for Babur's victory in the battle of Panipat was his skilled warfare ability. Babur also used tactics of war fighting such as Tulughma and Araba that led him to victory. In Tulughma system, the whole army was divided into various units, viz. the Left, the Right and the Centre. The Left and Right divisions were further subdivided into Forward and Rear divisions. Through this a small army could be used to surround the enemy from all sides. Whereas in Araba system, carts (araba) with animals are placed in rows facing the enemy and tied to each other. Behind the carts, cannons were placed which could be fired without any fear of being hit as they were shielded by the bullock carts. His war fighting skills made his around 15,000 men more dominant than force of Ibrahim Lodi which was around 30,000 to 40,000 men in total, along with at least 1000 war elephants. 172. Solution (d)

Akbar introduced the Zabti system in 1580-82 to ease the problems resulting from the setting of prices every year and the settlement of revenues of previous years.
Important Tips
The Zabti system was a system of land revenue collection that was based on the measurement of land and the average yield of crops. It was devised by Raja Todar Mal, who was Akbar's finance minister and a brilliant administrator. He conducted a detailed survey of crop yields and prices over a ten-year period using the system known as Dashala System. The average produce of various crops was calculated and the state received one-third of it as its share. The revenue was collected in cash or kind according to the convenience of the peasants. The Zabti system helped Akbar to increase his revenue resources and ensure a fair and efficient collection from the peasants. It also encouraged agricultural production and trade in his empire
